Preferences
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”Overview
Section titled “Overview”Preferences control user-specific behavior such as display options, assistant engagement, and personal defaults. They do not change the underlying data model for other users.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Personal preferences are loaded after sign-in and applied to your session. Some preferences affect how features behave automatically, while others affect presentation. Administrators may still control platform-wide policies.
Step-by-step
Section titled “Step-by-step”- Open Preferences or User Settings.
- Review the available personal options.
- Change one setting at a time.
- Save and return to the affected page.
- Confirm the behavior matches your expectation.
Common mistakes
Section titled “Common mistakes”Do not expect personal preferences to fix shared dashboard design. If every user needs a change, edit the dashboard or platform setting.
Do not confuse assistant engagement with feature access. On-request mode can still show AI buttons; it only changes when AI runs automatically.
